trenton_and_free_radicalWith 2009 coming to a close there will be plenty of articles on artists that you should watch out for. Some of those artists maybe here for the longhaul, some just for a hot minute but a reggae, hip hop, electro and rock quartet Trenton & Free Radical not only plan to be around for the unforeseen future they are also rewriting the sound of 21st Century London by fusing the political frustrations of front man Trenton, with fast-held musical roots.

While currently you may be asking where the summer went as the winter descends upon us full force, not that we had a summer here in the UK which is what Trenton & Free Radical’s first single is all about. Over an infectious and danceable beat Sunless Sundays morns over this very fact. With the groups front man Trenton originally from Johannesburg and growing up in Kenya, Nigeria and the Middle East it’s no wonder he can never get used to the Great British weather.

Made up of Ugandan bassman Kazz, Zimbabwean percussion maestro Sam and guitarist Marco from Ibiza big things are on the way for Trenton and Free Radical. We say catch them now while the buzz is still underground.
