Breaking the Ice (BTI), London’s premier rnb and hip hop karaoke night celebrated its 2nd anniversay on Wednesday 1st April 2009 at Piya Piya. Football matches on TV and the G20 protests didn’t stop the BTI crew turning up in full force to have the usual fun and entertaining night of karaoke. Booty Luv’s Nadia Shephard hit the stage giving us an amazing rendition of Jodeci’s Luv U 4 LIfe and Carnia White (who was out celebrating her birthday) was crowned the karaoke queen by the crowd for her performance of Mary J Blige’s Just Fine. She won a luxury fitness weekend supplied by www.3ness.com. If you missed it, you missed out, cos there aint no party like a BTI party.
