Goodbye 2011… Hello 2012!
I’m so excited about the New Year – with the Flavour projects we already have bubbling away at HQ, I can see it’s going to be very busy…

Annika Allen, Editor-In-ChefWelcome to the Back to the Future Issue. This theme was chosen because not only are we celebrating five big years since Flavour began, reminiscing about the journey we’ve travelled so far, but we are also looking forward to continuing to grow.

During the past five years the magazine has proudly supported the crème of UK talent from a variety of backgrounds and levels, and we are proud of the fact that our values have not changed: We continue to be creative and true in what we present, promoting and encouraging ambition and leadership, to be a source you can trust and of course always being entertaining.

On the cover is Ami Anselle, the stunning winner of Miss Flavour 2011. We can learn a lot from this beautiful young lady’s drive, hard work ethic and friendly nature. When the camera is on she is extremely focused and we truly think she has the makings of the next Naomi… but why take my word for it when you can see for yourself here?

Also in this issue we feature a fascinating
and humorous UK Hip Hop and Grime special, where we have a lot of fun with Ghetts, Wretch 32, Akala and a few others to find out what they got up to as teenagers and what the future has in store for them. It’s full of surprises!
Last year in our Music Class of 2011, we predicted that Ed Sheeran and Willow Smith would make a huge impact on the music industry. Didn’t we do well?! Find out here who we’re putting money on for 2012.

With T-Pain, Jourdan Dunn, Miguel and many other amazing and talented people starring in this issue, what a way to celebrate our fifth birthday with you our ever faithful and simply the best readers.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We can’t wait to give you more.

Nuff love,
