Founder and former singer/songwriter of EDM band Syntax, Jan Burton, has announced the release of his newest single ‘Freeze‘.
After recently collaborating with DJ’s and artists such as Eric Prydz, Morgan Paige, Metrik and Gabriel and Dresden, Freeze is Jan Burton’s first release as a solo artist.
The track Freeze takes inspiration from the experiences that Jan has had with people he has met over the years in the industry. Written as a thank you to the people who stand by you through everything, the song is about looking forward to the future and not regretting decisions made in the past.
“The emphasis is that life isn’t a ‘breeze’ and being ‘frozen’ out of situations is all part of it. A freeze makes you realise who is important and to whom you can ‘hold a torch’.”
The single is available to stream and download now via all major media providers and a second track is set to follow in January 2018.
