Dance Pop act Tears of Happiness have just released their latest single ‘Lift Me Up’.

Their two previous tracks made the top 10 and top 20 in Music Weeks’ Commercial Pop Dance Charts, whilst being playlisted in London’s Nike stores and numerous highbrow official Spotify playlists; only a few of the achievements since the duo’s inception.

Lift Me Up’ arrives in the midst of Summer; the perfect time for the track’s vibe. This is your classic summer dance pop anthem and clubs all around Europe will be bouncing up and down when it drops! It was recorded in LCAMZ Studio in Bedford and mastered by legendary engineer Geoff Pesche of Abbey Road Studios (Gorillaz, Coldplay, Pulp). Lyrically, singer Meeda tackles the struggles of mental illness, looking to tell their listeners that ‘there is a way out from feeling this low and alone’. LCamz’s lively, shimmering production lays the platform for Meeda’s uplifting lyricism and passionate vocal delivery to shine through, together pushing for an anthemic feel. The song emits positivity, something that Tears of Happiness deem vitally important to achieve with every release.

Tears of Happiness consists of Meeda (singer/songwriter) and LCamz (producer/engineer). Formed in the midst of the singers relationship falling apart, the artists joined their different musical backgrounds and influences to create a unique blend of Dance Pop with emphasis on a positive mindset. Together inspired by the likes of Rudimental and Kendrick Lamar, they have been described as ‘the beautiful bastard children of Calvin Harris and Depeche Mode’ by Paul Moody of Q Magazine.

‘Lift Me Up’ is available now on all major streaming platforms.
