In series 3 we saw, what appeared to be, the never-ending turbulent aftermath of Lauren Goodger and Mark Wright’s engagement call-off and break up, with emotions on a high and tempers running wild. Viewers wondered if it was really over for good…? Following the split, we observed Lauren’s loyal girlfriends all pull together to support her during a frustrating emotional time. The public even thought ‘you lucky *bleep*’ when Lydia rekindled her love for dopey boyfriend Arg. Lydia and Arg went on to claim the top spot as leading TOWIE couple…for a short period of time. Aww!
Hair ever-so slicked back and tighter-than-ever skinny jeans stud Joey Essex proved to be even funnier than the previous series, with more focus on his Arg & Mark-type bro-mance with Kirk Norcoss. Joey and Kirk or should we call ‘em Jirk?!
Other regulars, despite Amy Child’s absence, included Harry Derbidge, iCandy feature girl Sam Faiers, the stunning Lucy Mecklenburgh and her new beau Italian Bespoke Tailor, the lovely Gemma Collins, and her cheeky Greek twin friends – Dino and Georgio, and Joey’s sister Frankie who becomes more prominent in the show. Tiny little Greek brothers Dino and Georgia particularly add bucket loads of silly banter!
