Ten finalists have been selected to win a chance to fly to Rotterdam in The Netherlands for FREE to perform live at the world’s largest rnb & hip hop conference New Skool Rules from 5-7 April 2013.

Artcha, Just Viv, King Kash, Kelz TBK, Hayley Cassidy, Suli Breaks, ChetMega, Drew-Levi, Michael Lloyd Pinq and Danieal were chosen from hundreds of talented entrants. All you have to do is vote for your favourite act below. The winner will be the one with the most votes by midday on March 4.

New Skool Rules is a platform for music industry professionals, but also for talent to exchange knowledge, create new networks and most of all to do business taking place in Rotterdam 5-7 April 2013. This year sees Flavour become a media partner with New Skool Rules for the second time to give one UK artist a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to be flown out to Rotterdam in The Netherlands and be put up in a hotel and perform live at the event and mingle with the A&R department of a major labels along with many other delegates working in various facets of the music industry. Key tastemakers from the UK and global music and media industry will be flying over including DJ Trauma,  producer Anthony Dent plus many more elite members of the entertainment industry. Voting for this competition ends on 4 March at midday.

A motivated and talented 22-year-old South London hailing newcomer Just-Viv is the young rapper formerly known as [REC] and has a melodic and cohesive body of work, packed with well-crafted songs, heartfelt lyrics and honest messages.

King Kash
Born in Ukraine, to Ugandan parents and raised in Walthamstow, East London – Rapper / Producer King Kash started rapping at the young age of 8 about the same time as he began being taught classical cello as part of a School Music Programme. Although he later stopped playing Cello, he honed his rapping ability through battles in school and freestyling, King Kash released several tracks before finally putting together an official mixtape “Tha Drop” in 2005. 2012 saw him release his most accomplished body of work to date the “Worth the Wait EP”.

Kelz TBK
Kelz TBK a.k.a. “The Black Kupid” is a 21-year-old rapper and singer from Shoreditch, North London. His music is an amalgamation of jazz and blues filled love/heartbreak melodies, combined with his very own take on hip-hop – An MC by nature, his rhymes are filled with conviction and humour.

Hayley Cassidy
Hayley Cassidy’s solo career was first established within the genres of Neo Soul and R&B taking inspiration from the likes of Musiq, Angie Stone and Jill Scott to name a few. Throughout this journey Hayley penned tracks that held nothing but truth and prosperity and she shared these songs performing at a number of venues which included the renowned Jazz Cafe. Hayley C’s successes were never scarce as she also released her debut EP entitled ‘Real Talk,’ in 2009 equipped with an EP launch party which was independently funded. London born and raised, Ms. Cassidy genuinely stays true to her roots, having supported Alexandra Burke at a special concert in Peterhead, Edinburgh.

Suli Breaks
Suli has been hailed by many high-profile people (in particular Lennox Lewis, Styles P plus the Co-Founder of the popular American Def Poetry Jam show, Bruce George) to be considered in the upper echelon of the current generation of poets taking the world by storm. Building on the impactful feat (over 2 Million YouTube views achieved in a month) of his first inspirational video “Why I Hate School But Love Education”, Suli Breaks in his new piece American’TDream addresses the distinctions between the principles of a job you make yourself do day in day out, and a true career you love and are really passionate about.

Out of the Southwest of England comes ChetMega. The rising rapper has created a name for himself with a series of musical projects – including the role of frontman of rap/rock band VTKTM, and let’s not forget an excess of some fiery rhymes.

Drew-Levi
Drew-Levi is a 20 year old Singer/Songwriter who is currently finding his rightful place in the music industry. He taught himself to play Piano after being inspired by Sir Elton John, having briefly met him whilst being in the Original Cast of Billy Elliot The Musical back in 2005.

Danieal
Hailing from the Midlands, Danieal’s undeniable talent and love for music has been apparent from an early age. Being bought up in a mixed heritage background she was surrounded by an ecletic mix of genre’s and was encouraged to embrace her interest in music. Realising Danieal’s potential her parents ensured her classical training, firstly in the form of the piano which in her adolescence was followed by the saxophone and vocals.
