Production duo Hushh made up of Bento & Zeeko, have recently paired with singer/ songwriter Shak to produce their new EP ‘Elements’ which is set to be released on 26th March.

Taking inspiration from the multi-national heritage of the trio, the 4-track EP merges elements of alt-pop, electronic, soul and contemporary disco to create a captivating listening experience.

Hailing from North London, the trio met by chance one evening seeking shelter from the rain. Within a month of meeting, the EP was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered at Square Suite Studios in East London. Drawing their influences from an eclectic mix of artists such as Ryan Lesley, Damien Marley, Metronomy and Toro Y Moi, their music fuses a contemporary disco vibe with electro synths. The soulful lyricism of the tracks highlight aspects of the pop genre, with each track from the 4-track EP representing a different element. Shak says ‘each track represents an element, every song is meant to put you in a different space and take you on a journey.’

Elements is set to be released on 26th March 2018 via all major media providers, and singer/songwriter Shak is set to release a solo EP later this year. For information on this or about any future performances or releases, follow the artists on social media.
