Bishop (Tupac Shakur), Q (Omar Epps), Raheem (Khalil Kain) and Steel (Jermaine Hopkins) have grown up in the hood, spending their days cutting school, shoplifting and fighting – all in the name of fun. Dreamer Q, has aspirations to become a DJ but things go awry when Tupac’s character buys a gun to carry out a dangerous plan. Intent on using his weapon with the his guys to rob a local store and split the takings, things get out of control and the characters lives are irrevocably transformed.
