Less than a week after the release of his previous single ‘Hug Me‘, Egyptian house producer Amr Salah Mahmoud is back with another electrifying dance track, this time in the form of new single ‘You & Me’.
Born in Cairo, Amr started off his career working in business, but always felt he was being pulled back to his true passion of music. Soon enough he channelled this energy into being the drummer within a band, but soon realised composing and arranging music for songs was what he loved best. Now with a musical career spanning across three decades, the artist prides himself on his craft, having worked with a variety of Egyptian musicians, producing and composing songs and albums through his own company Digitec Records,
After producing for 7 years, family responsibilities pulled him away from music, but a realisation that life is too short to not work within a job you love helped Amr rediscover his love of music and launch his solo career. ‘You & Me‘ is the follow up to the previous single ‘Hug Me‘ and continues Amr’s consistent theme of hypnotic dance music and emotional lyrics. Musically he comparisons to the likes of Calvin Harris, David Guetta and Avicii.
